Why Wood Wool is Perfect for BBQs
Wood Wool is odorless, so it doesn’t impart any chemical taste to your food, preserving the pure flavors of your ingredients. Made from eco-friendly wood shavings and coated with vegetable wax, it ignites quickly and burns steadily, making lighting your charcoal fast and easy.
Grill Safely with Wood Wool
Wood Wool is flammable, so always handle it with care. Use BBQ accessories like heat-resistant gloves or BBQ tongs to ensure your safety. Store wood wool in a fireproof environment, in its resealable packaging, for long-term use.
Lighting Your Kamado with Wood Wool
For efficient Kamado grilling, follow these simple steps to light your charcoal using Wood Wool Fire Starters:
- Preparation: Remove any leftover ash from the previous grill session by shaking the coal basket, then open the Kamado’s vents fully.
- Filling: Refill the coal basket with high-quality charcoal, like BBQ Flavor’s Marabu charcoal.
- Wood Wool: Place 2 to 3 pieces of Wood Wool on top of the charcoal.
- Lighting: Light the wood wool with a match or lighter. The fire will spread, and in a few minutes, the coals will start to glow.
