CWS Dubai Terms and Conditions

By using www.cwsdubai.com, purchasing products, or using our services, you agree to these terms. If you disagree, do not use our website or services.

1. Registration

Registration requires providing personal information and a username (email) and password. This is a one-time process. Returning users can log in to their existing accounts. You must provide accurate contact details, including name, email, phone number, and address. We will maintain the confidentiality of this information.

2. Orders

Orders are complete only after CWS General Trading LLC receives payment, confirmed by our Accounts Department. We may contact customers to verify orders.

3. Product Availability

Due to potential timing differences, an ordered item might be out of stock. If this happens, we will contact you (if registered) to suggest an alternative. If you choose a different product:

  • If the new product is more expensive, you will pay the difference.
  • If the new product is less expensive, we will refund the difference as described below.

5. Payment Details

  • Online Payment: You can pay online using your credit/debit card. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from declined transactions due to exceeding pre-set limits. If your bank rejects a payment, we may refuse to ship the order. All credit card payments are securely processed through FAB Bank. We do not store your credit card information on our servers.
  • Cash on Delivery: Currently available only in the UAE and may not be available for oversized items. If COD is unavailable at checkout, it is due to one of these reasons.

6. Shipping Policy

We aim for fast and efficient delivery.

  • Free shipping on orders over AED 300 within Dubai and Sharjah. Orders below AED 300 will incur a AED 75 shipping fee.
  • Free shipping on orders over AED 1000 for all other Emirates. Orders below AED 500 will incur a AED 150 shipping fee.

7. Returns and Exchanges

We accept returns and exchanges within the UAE only.

8. Refunds

Refunds will be processed as follows:

  • Credit Card: The refund will be credited back to your credit card account within your bank’s stipulated timeframe.
  • Bank Transfer: The refund will be deposited into your bank account within five (5) business days of approval.

9. Information Collection and Use

We collect your name, email, and credit card details (if applicable) to process and fulfill your orders and maintain your account.

10. Data Protection

We use secure servers (SSL) to encrypt your information during order placement. All sensitive customer data is protected by multiple layers of encryption and security measures to prevent unauthorized access.

11. Cookies

Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. Our cookies do not contain personally identifying information and are used for order placement and login functionality. You must enable cookies to use our website.

12. Consent

13. Terms and Conditions of Website Use

  • All registration information must be truthful and accurate. You agree to maintain its accuracy.
  • Website use is for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not modify website content, decompile, reverse engineer, remove proprietary notices, or use the website in a harmful manner.
  • You may not use website products or services for commercial purposes, advertise, sell, solicit, or use the website unlawfully or in a way that harms CWS or any other entity.
  • You may not upload viruses or harmful components, impair the website, or engage in antisocial behavior like “flaming,” “spamming,” etc.
  • You may not modify website content, including legal notices or proprietary notices that you do not own.
  • All website content is CWS’s copyrighted property. Trademarks are proprietary to CWS. No content may be copied or reproduced without express written permission.
  • We are not responsible for linked external websites. We may disable links to third-party sites.

14. Return and Refund Policy

  • Returns: Unopened products in original condition with all tags and packaging can be returned within 7 calendar days of delivery. Pickup will be arranged within 2-3 working days (AED 100 pickup fee) or you can return items to our showroom/warehouse (Monday-Saturday, 9 am-5 pm).
  • International Returns: No returns or exchanges for international orders.
  • Non-Returnable Items:
    • Sale items.
    • Items not in original condition and packaging.
    • Misused items or items showing wear and tear.
    • Assembled, used, altered, or installed items (unless defective).
    • Sealed hygienic items.
    • Seasonal orders (unless damaged or defective).
  • Refunds: After product inspection, refunds will be issued to the original payment method or as company credit within 5-7 business days.
  • Defective Items: Contact customer service for defective, damaged, or missing items. We will repair, replace, or provide the missing part. If you decline a replacement and the return is within 7 days, a refund will be issued. Non-defective items will be returned to you.
  • Return Process Time: Item collection takes 2-3 business days, and replacement delivery also takes 2-3 working days after evaluation.
  • Return Destinations: Our return policy applies only to items delivered within the UAE.
  • Refund Process: Refunds are processed after the product is received at our warehouse. Credit/debit card refunds will be processed within 5-7 working days. Cash payments will be refunded via bank transfer upon receiving your bank details.

15. Security Policy

CWS General Trading LLC is committed to your security.

  • Login Details: We use SSL encryption to protect your data.
  • Payment Security: We use industry-standard encryption. All credit/debit card payments are processed by STRIPE. We do not store your complete credit card number. Payfort uses tokenization and only returns the last four digits.
  • Data is stored in various database entities running on clusters secured by Digital Ocean firewall rules. Database clusters are for internal use only. External cache storage does not contain personally identifiable information.
